Director – Ms. Millie

Hi, my name is Millie, and I am the Director of Operations at Marigold
Academy. The last 25 years of my life have been devoted to education in some
capacity. My journey began as a preschool teacher, I later taught elementary and middle
school. When the need arose for a high school, I had the pleasure of being a part of the
development team that created and later oversaw the high school we developed.
Although my roles have changed throughout the years, my love for children has
remained steadfast. I am happy to find myself back in the preschool world, better
equipped to lead my staff in providing the best preschool experience to your child.

Assistant Director – Ms. Emily

My name is Emily I am a preschool teacher with over 15 years of teaching
experience. I have taught in both New Jersey and Orlando. Teaching is a genuine
passion that I wholeheartedly adore.
I have a CDA in childhood education and am always eager to learn new ways to
approach childhood academics and development. My teaching philosophy revolves
around fostering an environment where students not only gain academic knowledge but
also acquire important skill sets. I find joy in helping kids learn, grow, and thrive.

Our health policy abides by state and local township health department requirements. We always encourage parents to keep their child home if they are sick. However, if a child becomes ill while in our care, we refer to our sick policy, provided to our parents upon registration. Please contact our school for our detailed health policy.

Weather permitting, we aim to take the children out twice a day. We believe that the fresh air, sun, and outdoors are just as important for child development. Our outdoor playground is greater than 10,000 sqft, therefore we have ample space to take all our children out simultaneously, and not having to take turns with other groups in the school.

Yes, we do offer a sibling discount, which is 10% off the oldest child’s monthly tuition.

We have developed our own curriculum that addresses the whole child. Cognitively, physically, and emotionally. We want children to be excited about learning as we prepare them to take the next steps in their development. Some of the areas we include in our curriculum are phonics, yoga, STEAM and writing.

Yes, we train and certify all our teachers in CPR/First Aid/AED every two years. We also train our teachers in safety procedures, drills, and evacuations.
